When you say alcohol people think "What are we drinking?" There are so many different types of drinks that come to people’s minds. Booze, beer, wine, hard liquor, mixed drinks, straight, on the rocks. Let’s take a look at what are we drinking with all the different types of alcoholic drinks and what you can do with them.

Some people think of recipes and cooking with different types of alcoholic drinks.
The use of rum, wines, Irish creams, brandy, sherry to name a few are all different types of alcoholic drinks on their own but good to cook with. Using Irish cream in a cheese cake is especially good. The alcohol cooks away and leaves just a wonderful taste. So instead of what are we drinking its more what are we eating.

Just what are we drinking when we drink wine? Usually wine is fermented grapes, but also can be made with different fruits too. Maybe you want to learn all about different wines. That is a huge undertaking. When traveling in Europe there were so many vineyards. Germany, Italy, France all has so many different kinds of wines. Do you know what they are drinking in Germany in the winter? Did you know that Germany has a wine that they call Ice Wine?

Another completely different type of alcoholic drink is beer. Beer is usually made from grains instead of grapes or fruits. Today the types of beers are limited only by imagination. People are trying their hand at making their own beer.
Okay hard liquor. Bourbon, rum, whiskey, gin, vodka, tequila just to name a few popular hard liquors. Take these and mix them up for so many different types of alcoholic drinks you can fill books and take as college courses.

Travel is so easy around different types of alcoholic drinks. Wineries, vineyards, breweries, micro breweries, distilleries are all incredible destinations for vacations. How about a hot air balloon ride over the vineyards of Napa Valley? How about a Villa in Tuscany? Oktoberfest in September in Germany is always a beer stop. You can travel all around the country trying Beers.
