Ready To Travel?
Are you ready to travel? Get in the car and go for the day. Pack a bag and hop a plane for destinations far away, you are ready to travel. Take a cruise around the Caribbean. Trains crossing the country are a nice way to go. It really doesn’t matter as long as you get going. Traveling is a wonderful thing. It is a vice in itself for some people. These people don’t mind the lines the cost, the hotel rooms and strange beds, they are on the go, that’s all part of the trip and experience.
You know people who will start planning their next trip as the one they are on is winding down. They are ready to travel at the drop of a hat. They are the folks who go to work only to be able to afford to leave. They seem never to be home. And they don’t care if it a few hours drive or trip across the world. They are ready to travel, they love to go.
Have you flown anywhere lately? You would really think that the economy would slow things down. Ticket prices up, gas prices up, and yet, planes are full. Standby passengers don’t always get seats as easily. Why? People who want to travel and are ready to travel are going to go no matter what. Ok, some are on trips for business but not all.
Traveling is the chance to have wonderful memories. To be able to explore, learn, visit, relax and yes maybe even rest. Some times to try and tell friends about your experience is so hard, but you know how much it meant, and that’s what matters.
But how will travel help us with our other vices? Traveling fits right in with all of our vices. It’s how you get there, and try them all. Have you ever gone on a cruise? Every port is the perfect place to shop. For the shopaholic this is heaven, the chance to see different markets and things to purchase.
How about drinking? Have you ever been to St Louis to a brewery? How about Kentucky for a Bourbon distillery? Germany for wines and Oktoberfest, France for champagne, Italy for wine?
You can go through Chocolate factories in this country and abroad. Oh yummy, they give free samples. Sorry that in it self would be worth the hassle of the trip.
Have you got a cigar or pipe shop around? The smell of a true pipe or cigar shop is so wonderful. Definitely worth the trip if you are a smoker.
So let’s go. Pack a bag, backpack, and suitcase, get in the car, bus, train, cruise ship, plane, who cares, let just get going. Traveling is a wonderful thing. To just have the chance to get away from home even for the day, you must be ready to travel.
